Social Housing Fundamentals for Local Authorities

Book Online

Social Housing Fundamentals for Local Authorities is a two-day training programme for staff of local authorities who are involved in the provision of housing services. Each day will be divided into two sessions. Day One will deal with the context for the work of Local Authorities in the housing area. Day Two will look at the regulatory environment and at the statutory basis for the work of Local Authorities - and the directions and guidance issues for the implementation of different services and operations.

The course will cover the following topics:

  • Session 2: The Housing Market
  • Session 3: Housing Legislation
  • Session 4: Housing Services

Who Should Attend?

This course will be of particular interest to all Local Authority staff involved in the provision of housing services. It is designed for new staff and for those requiring an update on the latest developments in housing.

Fee: The cost of this two day course is €350 per person.  Fee includes course materials, lunch and refreshments.
