Nicolas Marcoux, Head of International Services

Nicolas joined the International Services Unit of the IPA in June 2004, providing strategic advice and overall guidance in the design and delivery of the projects managed by the Unit. Having worked for the European Commission in various development and assistance capacities in sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe and in the Balkans, Nicolas is well seasoned in the management of large assistance programmes. He is also very familiar with the needs and challenges of countries undergoing processes of change and transition particularly in the fields of European Integration and public sector reform.

In his current role, Nicolas provides necessary support to the programme managers in their management and projects-related functions; he also interacts with clients and beneficiaries institutions and advises them on strategic decisions in the area of international assistance.
